Winter is Coming Fast

it's raining, it's pouring!
feeling good

Friday the 12th is what is called the full cold moon or the Wolf Moon.

It is when the moon is closest to the earth and reaches its "perigee". It will be the largest moon this year. If it's clear you won't want to miss it. It is called a wolf moon as well because Wolves tend to howl during this particular full moon also. It will be 30% brighter than any other time this year and a full 14% larger in the sky. Check it out at sunset when it will be huge and later on around midnight when its light will be really bright.

On the 21st of December is the first day of Winter though it seems wintry right now.
Today it was just pouring like crazy but not as cold as it had been. Still my gutters are falling down and my sofits are a mess and its not good.
Tomorrow is a busy day for me as I prepare for the weekend. I get all my cooking and cleaning done and the day ends early.
In the early afternoon I have a recital to attend for the Anonymous Kid also. Hopefully it all will get done. You can see the Anonymous Kid and her baby sister's photos HERE . Yes, I am proud of them . They look just like me!! Ain't I cute??

  3. There's an adorable girlfriend there for Ryan! They're only a few months apart! I'm sort of confused... are they your grandchildren or firends? I didn't even know about your Rock n Roll Cafe- very cute!

You mentioned Carmel. Did I ever give you my link to my Carmel Cottages PhotoShow? We visit there often. Jeff's aunt built a home in Carmel and her son (Cousin Steve) built one in Carmel Valley.

  4. I saw that moon. It was fabulous. Living in a city, you sometimes forget about the joys of nature.
