First Day of Autumn

Tonight at 11:09 PM is the autumnal equionox and the official first day of Autumn!
The changing light of fall is already visible on the pond as clouds reflect more clearly on the surface in the lower light. Cooler breezes , swaying trees and crisper colors are one of the goodies that come with autumn.
I love this time of year. I have so many good memories of these days in the past spent with loved ones and friends.
I will taking time off Thursday through Saturday for family time.
But if I can come up with something interesting meanwhile I will post and schedule it to run during that time.

"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns." ~George Eliot

  2. Hi Annie! I was just looking up info on the first day of fall. Since Jacob's birthday is the 22nd, I was wondering if his birthday is always the 1st day of fall but found it varies slightly. All my calendars say the 22nd for 2010. Guess it varies according to where you are on the planet. :) Have you ever had any wild weather while in your Sukkah? (((Hugz)))
