Another Day in Paradise

Amidst the news that more snow is coming.. (are we ever pleased?)I drank my first ever cup of green bean flavored coffee tonight.  It was an interesting experience. I keep a separate pan in which I reheat coffee that may go cold if I am not paying attention. Well, last night I inadvertently used it to heat some frozen green beans mistaking it for another pot I have. How they got mixed up is anyone's guess but they did. It happens.
When I took a sip of the coffee... Green Beans!! The flavor had melded into the pan and despite washing was still there. So, I have invented a new coffee flavor.
It isn't awful but, it won't get popular anytime soon either.

I remember once when I was a teen making a cup of tea in the morning when I was sleepy. After preparing the tea and water in a cup I picked up milk to pour into it and instead poured the milk into the sugar bowl. Why? I have no idea and I just stood there looking at it stupidly for  a few moments. It was so silly that I have never forgotten it.
That's what comes of being sleepy or day dreaming I guess.

  1. Hi Annie! Can't say I have ever had green bean flavored coffee! That is funny you pouring milk in the sugar bowl. I have done things before that have left me scratching my head too, lol! Stay warm.

  2. Hi Annie,
    Maybe you invented a hew flavor of coffee lol Does not sound that good to me tho ;) Hope you stay warm with the snow coming. We have so much snow in our local mountains the kids went skiing while we were in New Orleans. We have a great area called Lake Arrowhead it is a little less than 2 hours from my house and it is gorgeous with the snow and the beautiful lake. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

  4. Don't think I'll be drinking green bean coffee anytime soon. Reminds me of Regis and Kellie and every Thanksgiving, Gelman drags out the flavored sodas for them to sample: turkey, green bean, suffing, yams, etc... Jessica is fine now- was either something she ate or a 24 hour bug. Just gave Cooper a bath. He's 34 lbs now so his next bath will be at the groomers! Enjoy the rest of your Thursday! (((Hugz))

  6. Hi Annie;

    That sounds like something I would do.LOL! But I doubt I would care for green bean coffee. There was one time I went crazy looking for the glass pot full of coffee only to find it in the microwave and the milk in a kitchen cabinet (not on the same day of course).. Thanks for the chuckle my friend. Stay warm. Hugs

They kept the play true to the orginal it made me want to put my bell bottoms on and march against war :) My friend Joe who is only 41 loved it. Hope you have a wonderful weekend and stay warm.

  8. Hi Annie! Wish you could've come along to the park today. We walked (I pushed Jacob in the stroller but Ry walked) and we were in shorts and tank tops- 80 degrees! I am a sun worshipper- but I do think snow is beautiful. I just like to visit it, ski and then leave it behind! :) Have a great weekend!
