Spring is Finally Here

“Every man's life is a fairy tale written by God's fingers”
...Hans Christian Anderson

 I am waiting for my Cinnamon Crumb Cake to finish baking at which time I will be in heaven with a great chubby slice and a cup of tea.
Did you see Kirstie Alley's   wonderful job tonight on Dancing with the Stars?
It was awesome. She had trouble catching her breath though and that was worrisome. But she is 60 and a lovely graceful dancer.

The photo of Hans Christian Anderson was taken by a friend. I thought of it when the first day of Spring arrived.
Poor Winter, I don't mean to put it down with my title. I do love it too.

  1. Hi Annie;

    Wish I had a piece of your cinnamon crumb cake. I can almost taste it! Wow! I didn't realize Kirstie Alley is 60.

    Wonderful photo of HCA. It soes remind me of Spring. We have more snow coming this week. Even a dusting is troublesome. ;-}

    Have a lovely day ahead my friend. hugs

  2. Hi Annie,
    Happy Spring! Spring started with a bang here in LA :) We have been in a draught so long it will even take a little more rain to consider us out of the drought! Pretty picture of the statue of Hans Christian Anderson. Yum yum that cake sounds delicious. Hope you have a lovely day.
    Hugs, Dru

  5. Hi Annie

    Our spring was replaced by snow today. A little bit of winter saying goodbye.

    I've often passed that statue of HCA in Central Park but it was always when I did not have a camera or the time to stop for a photo. I will have to remedy that this year!

    Thank you for your congratulations on the birth of my grandson! We are so thrilled with the new addition to our family.

  8. You have spring? Im jealous. Ive had so much rain here Im growing moss on my north side. Its been record rain this yr. I knew it rained up here when I moved here but Dear God this is crazy. Ive kept myself sane by saying its liquid sunshine but its just not working anymore. In my defense Im doing much better than most of the natives who are used to this stuff.
