July 4 2011 Sunset sky

Last night many towns had their fireworks.

We go to a place on the bay where we can see as many as 8 towns at once all shooting off various displays and private homes long the bay who also put on their own shows.

The biggest show of the night, however, was the spectacular sunset.
The littlest member of the family asked when she heard us say this was put on by the best show in town, "who is dat?"
We all answered in unison, "God"!

the sky was stunningly vivid oranges, reds , pinks and yellows

People in boats arrive for the shows

What a beautiful night it was. The breeze was refreshing after a hot day and the scent of the water was wonderful as always.

  1. Beautiful photos! Happy (late) 4th!

  2. Hi Annie,
Gorgeous pictures :) We also watched the fireworks at the kids house that they have at the Starlight Bowl in the same hills they live in. It was so cool to watch from the front of their house. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
    Hugs, Dru

  3. Hi Annie! There is nothing like a fireworks display over the water- always adds such a nice dimension. Of course, the sunset display never can be beat! :) We had already crossed The Last Airbender off the list for Ryan... I think he could do things other than animated but it should probably have cute puppies in it! :) Happy Hump Day!

I love hearing your thoughts and your visits mean a lot to me.
