  3. Hi Annie;

    I'm so glad you're okay and thankful it's all over. Between the earthquake and the hurricane, we had some past week. Have a lovely day my friend. Hugs

  4. Hi Annie, I am glad you are ok. When I was on my cruise in fall of 2008, a hurricane was coming up the east coast. The ship had to go out further as it headed from Canada to NY. Thanks for all the pictures. We have been watching the news. I never get use to the earthquakes and I have lived in So CA all my life. We felt a big one while we were on vacation in LV several years ago and it was coming from the CA desert. Take care. Hugs

  5. Hi Annie! I feel like I downplayed Irene on my blog which I didn't mean to. It reminds me of Katrina where at first they thought they had been spared... and then all the flooding happened. I love that last beach photo- those fences and plants are so east coast... we don't have that in SoCal beaches. Too bad about the boardwalk... also different... ours are cement. Here's to a better week ahead! (((Hugz)))

  6. Happy Last Day of August Annie;

    Hopefully the flooding is receding by you. Here they are working on getting the last of the power outages back, roads and downed trees taken care of.

    I can't get over how fast the year, months and time are going by. I'm not really a hot weather person but I'm really happy to see this August leave. It's been a horrible one weather wise for me. I'm looking forward to autumn but definitely not winter. Have a better day my friend. Hugs
