Chilly Spring Weather

 It is chilly today and I set up my little heater by my desk because I felt chilled all the way through.
It isn't unusual for April weather to be unstable. I find spring to be damp and chilly in general and rarely surprised by bad weather or the odd snow fall.

I came across a question that got me to thinking. "Where would you most like to live?"
Hmm, that is not easy as there are so many wonderful places. I wouldn't leave the USA though I have a great number of relatives living in the UK and even some in Hong Kong!  But I am most drawn to New England and have always liked Massachusetts, Maine,etc.  The homes there are my style as is the primitive and colonial/early American style. In the end it is a style I am always drawn to because of the warm colors and cozy feel of the look.
If you had to or wanted to move  where would you like to live besides where you are now?
What is your decorating style or one you think you could live with?

  1. Hi Annie,
    Same here with April weather we are hot and cold thru June actually. Not cold like your cold in the 60's & 70's that is our cold LOL I honestly don't want to live anywhere else. I love it here because our great state has it all. I love the outdoors in Utah and I love the culture and foliage of MA and all the New England states. If I had to pick a place it would be one of the Islands in Hawaii most likely Maui since it is a lot like where I live anyway I guess?? Hope you have a wonderful evening. Hugs, Dru

  2. Hi Annie! I like Windows 7 fine... it's not that much different BUT it hasn't solved my problem so the search for an answer continues. :( It's hard to give up Southern California living and I'm not good with cold weather but if I had to live where there's snow, I'd pick Colorado because I love the mountains there and they live an active lifestyle which I like. One thing I would like is to have a lot of property where I could have animals like horses, chickens and of course dogs and cats. A big vegetable garden would be fun, too!

  3. I would probably pick the East Coast as well.

    It was on the chilly side today too. April has been a weird month for weather!

  4. Hi Annie, I would love to live anywhere near or by the water and as for style I do love the modern simplistic clean look. Lots of white which of course would be hard to keep clean, especially with my hubby, lol. I do like the east coast too, the mountains, I guess I have a lot of likes. Have a wonderful week-end. Love and Hugs!

  5. Hi Annie! Thanks for researching my problem. :) I've been to that exact site and that guy pretty much describes the exact problem I'm having. I've tried all the suggestions except the ones that don't apply like the Logitech mouse suggestions. I've tried disabling scroll (on the wheel) on my new mouse and that didn't help either. I'm using a wireless mouse and keyboard and sometimes wonder if an old-fashioned mouse might be better. I'm really spoiled with wireless, tho. I'm going to try not having my TV on that's on my computer desk because maybe there's some interference. Maybe a voodoo doll next?!? ;) The problem is lessened tho so that's a bit of a help. Have a great weekend!

  6. I dream of visiting Vermont some day. I don't know where I want to live out our "golden years" when the time comes. All I know is I want to be by water ( lake or ocean). Hugs and smooches!!!

  7. HI Annie I would live in California where I am but by the sea in a Victorian House. I don't live by the sea. I was born by the sea though in Delaware. It is very chilly here for April as well and I was chilled to the bone today as well. BRRRRRR. Have a great weekend. Hugs

  8. Hi Annie! Do you ever postdate on your blogger blogs? Since I've done new things to my computer... windows 7, etc... the postdating is not working. Does blogger automatically update when there's a new version? Just wondering if I'm missing something. Will go google my problem as the help section of blogger didn't address this issue.

  9. Hi Annie;

    It's been awhile since I visited. I agree about April and it isn't one of my favorite months either. Hopefully May will be better weather wise. I love New York but if I had to live anywhere else I would like to live in a lovely town close to all conveniences so I wouldn't be so home bound. Hugs
