Shark Feeding Frenzy

This is why you stay out of the ocean in the morning and late afternoon.
This shark feeding frenzy on a mob of moss bunker (fish) occurred just this past weekend right by me.
You can see the sharks jumping and the moss bunker jumping to escape.

  1. Scary to think those sharks are that close to shore, Annie! I am not much of a swimmer so I stsy in the shallow end of water.

  2. Hi Annie,
I was hearing about this and they were saying because of the warmer water it is causing them to be seen in your local waters. Scary stuff. But very interesting. Hope you have a wonderful Wednedsay. Hugs, Dru

  4. Yikes! I don't like to even think about sharks in our oceans. I used to spend hours floating on a big surf raft when I was a teenager. Our legs would hang over the side and we probably looked like big seals to sharks! I worry about Justin and Jeff scuba diving, too. Justin is leaving on Friday for Costa Rica and will be diving and surfing there. Maybe I need to google sharks in Costa Rica... or maybe not! :(

  6. Wow!! Amazing footage. Things like this make me glad I don't swim. The most I do is walk along the shore and wet my feet. Have a lovely day ahead my friend. Hugs

  8. Hi Anne, I saw that footage on the news and it was shark week on tv. Our tour guide in Maui said that fish boats through out fish on the outskirts of the Molokini crater, and this kept them from going in the center where we snorkelers were. I am glad I did not think about it too much. It was a wonderful experience, swimming with the turtles! Can I ask where you got the sand background. It looks like the sand on Maui. I love coming in here, so peaceful! Hugs
