A New Year

H

appy New Year to you all.

I have been having problems with my computer and probably need to replace it, hence the light posting.
In Germany and Denmark  it is not New Year's Eve if you do not watch this very funny sketch made in England  in1963 starring May Warden as  90 year old Miss Sophie celebrating her birthday. She has outlived all her friends.
The butler is played by Freddie Frinton.
The original skit was written in 1920 but has endured all these years.
I hope you like it as much as I do and make it your own tradition.

  8. Very funny! The poor man tripping over the animal rug head reminds me of Dick Van Dyke who was always tripping over the hassock on his TV show. Have a wonderful weekend.
