Reading and Working Out

Though the weather is somewhat cold, Robins are flocking around and birds are singing. I think that is a sign of spring coming and I don't think anyone will miss winter this  year.
I hope that spring brings better things than winter did.
I am once again in physical therapy and working hard to get strong.  I love going but it is hard work and a few days left me hurting quite a bit.  Worth it though.
I am reading a John Grisham novel called A Painted House.  Only a few pages in, I am finding it so well written that it is hard to put down!
Are you reading anything lately?

  1. Hi Annie, No birds here yet. Still so much snow out the windows that block my views with 5-6 foot "white" hills. John Grisham is one the better authors out there. Right now I'm reading 2 different mysteries, "Taken" by Barbara Freethy and "Endless Night" by Agatha Christie (not her usual speciality detective story).

I'm glad PT is helping you. I'm using a bycicle type floor equipment that I could sit in a regular chair and read or watch TV. My legs have been painful these past few weeks. More so than ever.

Have a lovely day ahead my friend. Hugs

  2. Hi Annie! I've seen the Robins out quite a few times. It won't be long though before we have the bluebirds and the Forsythia's start blooming. I can' almost smell spring! I'm glad PT is working out so well for you but sorry about the pain. :( Hopefully the pain goes away soon for you and you won't need PT anymore. :) Hope you enjoy the rest of your week. Hugs!

  3. Hi my dear Annie !!
Having a walk in the garden here too Spring seems to be almost near, but we still have our Robins here ... here Robins near the houses are messengers of cold and of Winter and so we think that probably we have still to wait before Spring arrives (during the summer they go and live in the forest beside the river where the days are a little fresher to come back in Autumn in the woods surrounding our home).
Hoping you're feeling better very soon I wish you a beautiful weekend my sweet friend
    Hugs ❤

  4. Hi, Annie. I love a well written novel. I've never read anything by John Grisham. I'll have to check him out. We usually see robins all over the place here in Florida but none so far. I love to see them though. Have a lovely weekend! Hugs

  5. Hi Annie, we have not seen to many birds yet. We usually get hummingbirds in the spring and they stay through the fall. We are having a lot of heavy rain this weekend. Hope you are doing well. Hugs
