Weekend Meditations: Fountain Reverie

Pipe organ music is my absolute joy in life.
My grandmother played professionally. I can play 'somewhat' but nothing approaching her ability and besides, where would I play one?  They are not accessible to me.    My grandmother was in demand and played for all sorts of venues long ago.
Here is one of my favorite songs for pipe organ.
This is  the great Diane Bish playing one of the most relaxing and spiritually uplifting songs I know, 'Fountain Reverie' by Percy Eastman Fletcher.
Ms. Bish's rendition is closest to my grandmother's technique so it is a favorite of mine.
I first heard it played by my grandmother when I was 3 years old. She let me try it too and I was hooked from that day forward.
I hope it brings you the comfort and joy it brings me.
