Friday Foto Friends: Bits and Pieces

Here are a few  photos for Debbie's Friday Foto Friends which is a awful lot of fun in which to take part. You get to meet nice people and see wonderful photos  they post.
These photos are just bits and pieces of things seen around the place.

There is a big Wisteria out back that grew over a little structure. The structure was torn down but the wisteria goes on and has seeded it's children all over the place including back in the woods behind me.  This one has decided to grow up over my back porch.  It twines up over the old awning frame.
The house needs paint and the porch is peeling.
Always lots of do when you can't do it!

"I iz in yer pond lookin' fer bugz" said Mr. Frog who has grown from a wee lad into a very large frog this summer.  Here he is pretending we can't see him among the mint.
His brother lives in the little front pond and has been named Gus by the Famous Anonymous Kid.

You can see your neighbors through the phragmites growing along the shoreline.
I wonder if they, like Mr. Frog, think they can't be seen hiding behind it?

My notebook is completely empty!

Uh oh.

    1. Gus has no fish to bother him but Mr. Frog has tons of big fish to contend with. He seems to take it all in stride though and it is nice to have friends for sure!

    1. Hot on the coast in South New Jersey too!
I got the notebook because it was cute and I needed a place for shopping lists.
I am really not one to write down thoughts or dreams for others to see but it struck me as funny that it sat there like that yelling at me

  5. I'm smiling at your determined Wisteria, lots of spirit :)
Our one and only frog went a courting and didn't return, I miss his amorous calls in the evening.
Lovely pictures, thank you for sharing your little corner of the world.

Really like the picture of the Frog. :-) thank you so much for linking up with me and I'm sorry its taken me so long to comment. I was out and about all day yesterday. Hope you have a great weekend!

  8. What neat shots !
Your Guard Frog is a handsome little dude...
how patient of him to peacefully coexist with the busy school of fish.
That wisteria is certainly determined...must be beautiful in the spring.
    Have a splendid day,my friend !
