Spring is Here

Spring has sprung but just like last year, the Vernal Equinox arrived with a snow storm.
More stormy weather is due for tomorrow as well.
It is a volatile time of year as the earth moves closer to the sun.
Here is a look into the woods.

Now I will spend the evening watching Miss Marple... first, At Bertram's Hotel!

  1. Loved seeing your snow on "the First Day of Spring". We had rain and high winds with tornado warnings, but thankfully none touched down in our area. Praying for those in the country who were not so fortunate. Glad you had a cozy home to retreat into and watch Miss Marple! Sounds like an interesting and fun way to spend a snowy night! I hope today will be a bright and cheery day.

    1. Glad you were safe down there.
Wind is a big strong here now too and as of now, 3 in the afternoon, it is still snowing but we are not getting a big accumulation it seems. I am far enough south that this end of the Pennisula dangles into Delaware/Maryland space and we get weather like they do. It's called the Delmarva area, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia with the tip of NJ reaching in for good measure.
Our weather is different than North Jersey and God likes us better than he likes them ;)

  2. It hasn't snowed here, yet, but it does look and feel like it wants too, sigh...no signs of spring. Hope you have a lovely day regardless of the weather.

  3. Hi Annie, Now it's the second day of Spring and we are expecting snow (again!) by this afternoon. Not sure how many inches yet. Don't you just love Spring so far? LOL! I just finished watching all my Miss Marple dvds for the umpteen time and Bertram's Hotel is a favorite of mine. Love the singing CI. I spend the rest of the day singing his little ditty. Have a day of blessings my friend.

    1. I watched Bertram's Hotel online at YouTube and it stars Geraldine McEwan, who I also like as Miss Marple. I like them all but my favorite is Joan Hickson.
This one has Louis Armstrong in it. I have not seen one with Joan Hickson.

  4. We are having our snow today...and yesterday and through the night we had sleet...made travel a bit more treacherous. Loved seeing a look into your woods! And hearing your voice! Your header is beautiful, Annie. I love old barns...and especially the quilt barns! You do such amazing work.

    1. Thank you Dianna. I love barns too and I love the hex signs on them in Pennsylvania.
Out west the barns are different.
I think my voice sounds like Minnie Mouse !
