Simple Woman's Daybook

Simple Woman's Day Book Entry

 For Today
Looking out my window
It is a chilly 34°F,
cloudy and it is a rainy day  here by the sea.

I am thinking
Of things to be done today and God willing the fun we will have tomorrow night at a painting session

I am thankful
For life.

One of my favorite things
Is watching the sea  slide into the rocks and see the frothy foam fizzle like a glass of champagne.

I am creating
I am always painting pictures and taking photographs. Also I am always reorganizing the house to make things nicer, cleaner and easier to access.

I am wearing
A Brigham Young University Sweatshirt and my moccasins.

I watched

The movie The Greatest Showman at the theater.
What a wonderful, exciting and happy movie. See it if you can.
It is the story of P.T. Barnum and it is a musical with great music, wonderful artists!
The critics panned it  but theaters were packed and people loved it!

I am hoping
That my heart surgery finally takes hold. They are talking of re-doing it if not.

I am learning
Something new everyday.
In my kitchen
I've been cooking a lot of chicken dishes lately.

In the school room

Attended 4th grade production of 101 Dalmations.
The little was curtain opener and stage director.

In my garden
Some daffodil leaves are poking up. I am making plans for flower beds and shrubs, if I can afford it.

Closing Notes
I hope you have a good day today, whatever the weather and as I write this the sun is coming out!

  1. I pray that your heart procedure finally takes a hold..grr...how frustrating. No rain here today, expecting rain tomorrow though, sigh. Something tells me winter is not over with. Keeping you in prayer, sweet friend.

  8. I'm praying for your heart situation right now, my friend. I'd hate for you to have go through that again! Have you ever been to Thunder Hole in Acadia Park in Maine? Your picture and explanation for "one of my favorite things" made me think of it.
