I meant to look earlier, but had a very busy weekend. Yes, you are so correct in your comparisons! I never realized that your coastal NJ was so similar to Florida! Of course, NJ also has mountain areas inland, and there the comparisons stop. I wish Florida had some mountains!!! Yes, where I live we do have the cedar creeks...and the white sand looks like snow in the moonlight. I found this very enlightening, as I really have never explored NJ> My husband's father was raised in Newark, NJ, and my husband has relatives in the Chatham area. We have only visited once, many years ago. If you ever come to Florida, we must go exploring our region together so we can compare notes. Would so love to visit with you anywhere, anytime. I pray your Mother's Day has been sweet and restful. Pamela M. The birds cannot really feel homesick! I think I would have a preference for New Jersey 's pet neighbours(they have friendlier faces!) and also for its winters because I love the change of seasons. That crocodile at the door gave me pause. The racoon and the dog on the other hand made me smile.
