Here in my area it didn't even get that dark even though we were supposedly at 66% I personally didn't run out to look not having eye protection. Thank you for playing along with creative adventure. I knew you would do the Abandoned Railroad meme loving trains as much as I do. I too owned a Lionel train set. I'll be posting on my regular blog again in September. I need the rest away from constant online posting. Have a wonderful week ahead dear friend.Toni https://www.blogger.com/profile/01171124552895606916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15530750.post-9824858282001230412017-08-21T19:55:53.750-04:002017-08-21T19:55:53.750-04:00Oh Annie, this train story just blew me away! My father was a toy train collector, (Lionel) and had quite the display that he loved to demonstrate for anyone who would sit and watch and listen...and who wouldn't? It was the joy of all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. And the adults as well. It broke my heart when my Dad finally decided he needed to sell that marvelous display before he died so we wouldn't have to figure out what to do with it. All of the other trains he had were also sold. I wanted one of the trains, but it was not to be. We do have a small Lionel set that our boys loved as children. It needs some work to get it running again, and our village has seen better days. Our 3 sons loved to crash the train, so you can imagine. You took me back in time. Thank you. Sorry to write so much here. This just struck a chord...God bless you !Pamela M. Steinerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04060656432106792419noreply@blogger.com
