Advise

Advice: 5¢

You are very welcome here at Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.  We look forward to your participation and seeing your answers to the questions we provide.  It's enjoyable to get to know more about blogging friends.

We all take and give advice at least once in our lives.

Oxford dictionary says that advice is: guidance or recommendations offered with regard to prudent future action.

1. Is there one piece of advice you  were given that you feel has been very important in your life?

From my father: Don't run before you can walk. Also, You can't dry yourself off with a wet towel and the hardest thing to conquer is the self.

Bishop Fulton Sheen: Never be tolerant of evil or evil ways. Be tolerant only of people who are striving to do well. Morals are set by God, not by you. Psalm 5 states:   "You're not a God who smiles at sin; You cannot abide with evil. For you are not a God who has pleasure in wickedness".

2. What advice do you think is important for building good personal relationships?   There is no relationship with those who will not communicate rightly or show you respect. .Therefore both things must exist to have  a relationship at all.    

3. Do you give advice to friends when they have problems to solve or do you refrain unless asked?   In the past I gave advice. Now only if asked.

4. What advice can you give us today?  Do not think with your heart. It will always 100% of the time deceive you and lead you wrong conclusions. 

And you have the proverb  in relation to bad situations that it takes 2 to tango.  This is not true.  You can stand up right now and do a tango all by yourself.    As it says in Proverbs:  The wise woman( Or man)  builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.  Applies to both men and women but, it means it only takes one person to destroy a relationship. or a business, etc.

Its also said everything happens for a reason.  Sometimes the reason is that you are stupid or foolish etc.
