Still autumn, we have already had a serious drop into the 'teens. The other evening the temperature drops to a little below 17F.
Winds the other evening were howling and even the many owls that surround my home were quiet as they huddled in their little dens. It reminds me to put up some owl houses in the yard.
Keep warm... a Nor'Easter is headed our way here.
Tuesday 4 is available, link at the top of the page.
What a beautiful photo, Annie. I read about the incoming weather, sigh...well, it is December my friend. smiles. Wishing you a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteWhere do you put the owl boxes? How do you get them up in the trees? I love owls, but we have not seen any here at this house. We can sometimes hear them in the distance. I miss seeing them. I hope you are safe and snug and warm in your house. Love the picture! Hey, are those drones flying over your house? Maybe they are getting the scoop on your next post to spread the word around the world! LOL. Take care my friend, and stay warm!
ReplyDeleteThose drones are the size of vans! They are up to no good too. You can hang the boxes on the side of the house but at least up 10 feet. If in the trees.. 10 or more feet and you need a good ladder. You can afix them to a big square pole too but protected in case of high winds.
DeleteStay safe and warm, Annie!
ReplyDeleteYep, it turned to winter here too!
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful header !
ReplyDeleteThe barn looks so cozy and inviting !
Stay safe , well and warm !
