Daybook

Rain, a downpour, wind and Peepers by the water! Only two peepers tonight. Peepers are tiny frogs the size of your thumb nail but they are LOUD!  They peep through the Spring to attract one another. In a month or so I will be overlouded with them and the super loud peeping they make.
The Simple Woman's Daybook is no longer online as it's author desired less time on the net but I can still use it I think. Why not?

For Today

Looking out my window:
Everything is wet from rain. It's late night and the lights from solar lights on
lawns are reflected in the puddles in the street.  The street lamp is out and it is  black and  quiet.

I am thinking  About some things I have to get done.  I need to reorganize things but it takes me forever to do it.  I want to use my record player more often too.

I am thankful   That  God is in charge of things in the end.. not silly politicians.

One of my favorite things is writing on my blog.

I am creating a more organized home.

I am listening to  a 48 Hours rerun, falling rain and blustery wind in the trees.

I am wearing black sweatpants and black tee shirt that I will sleep in tonight.

I am reading:  Descriptions of household items I need to buy trying to decide which ones are best.

I have this quote  framed on my office wall.

A Moment from my Day:   I got a delivery from the store ... Boka toothpaste and a ton of electric toothbrush replacement heads.   Friday a slim cabinet for the bathroom will arrive.  I need the drawer space and this one is very pretty.  I hope it will serve the purpose.   If I like it, I will order another one for the kitchen and maybe the office.

Post Script
The USA better start drilling for oil soome as home heating gas prices are beyond normal!
I am no fan of fracking as I feel it damages the land too much. Just look at the condition of Bayour Corne and  homes in some states where flames come from the taps   You cannot remove oil from the pockets underneath the earth and not expect them to collapse.  You cannot fill those pockets with chemicals to replace the oil and force it out without more damage over time.
Windmills at sea are killing whales by the dozens, ripping eagles and sea birds to shreds. Something must change and quickly.
