I've been reading about the perception of time speeding up. Quite a few scientists believe it is caused by the digital/AI age we live in where perception is skewed and where too much information destroys the joy and uniqueness of life. Too much of the world invades the mind and destroys peace of mind.
It is time to step back from electronics and get back to nature as much as possible. Even our bedrooms become hubs of busy humming electricity coursing through us all day and all night .
Time to take a big break.
Here are some peaeceful photos from around the neighborhood.
Beautiful, peaceful photos. I think the scientists are right about too much digital data destroying peace of mind.
ReplyDeleteOh, those are lovely photos and verses to go with them. YOu are right about this electronic age taking up too much of our time and energy. Our bedroom does not have a TV or other devices. I plug my phone in to recharge all night, but I don't look at it and many times turn off the sound altogether so I won't be bothered if there are nightowls out there sending me text messages. I try to limit my time on the computer and phone to specific times throughout the day, but leaving plenty of time for everything else.
ReplyDeleteI turn off the 5G and wifi at night as well as putting the phone on do not disturb. I am glad you liked the photos!
