Sunday Stealing: Put Your Questions in the Box Questions
1. Where were you three hours ago? Three hours ago I was sound asleep.
2. Make a confession. I hate thyme and I have also now added fennel seed to my list of dislikes.
3. Bad habits? Bumping into corners of walls.
4. Favorite color? I like pale yellow and blue
5. Can you drive? I can drive both stick and automatic too.
6. 3 pet peeves.
- people who say "but I thought you said"
- willingly ignorant people
- when you say you don't prefer spicey foods (or etc.) they yell out "Oh I love it!" as if it's some kind of contest. Frankly, I think for them it is.
- Karens and everything they do
7. Last person you hugged. The Little.
8. Something you miss. Times when people were kind.
10. Favorite quote. "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time." (from the TV show Baretta)
11. Favorite band. Glenn Miller. I know most people think of rock bands but, I can't really count them as real bands. Bruce Springsteen uses the Sessions Band who are a bunch of studio musicians who are great.. His version with them of 15 Miles on the Erie Canal is wonderful.
12. Something you're excited for. Breakfast... I slept late today. I need groceries though. I have no eggs right now.
13. Favorite movie. When I was younger it was A Man for All Seasons, but now I have a few and they are mostly light hearted like You've Got Mail, While you Were Sleeping, Zorro the Gay Blade, Moonstruck.. nothing really intellectual at all.
14. What type of phone do you have? Android Pixel 7A
15. Favorite animal. I like dogs and cats best I think.
I miss the times when people were kinder, too. Everyone seems to be so mad now. (Bev is having health issues, but she is ok.)
ReplyDeleteMoonstruck was awesome. I saw it more than 30 years ago. I wonder if I would still like it. I have changed ALOT.
ReplyDeleteHi , everyone !
ReplyDeleteIt was another beautiful day...back to chilly again for awhile.
My miniature daffodils are sprouting and there is flirty birdsong in the air !
Stay safe and well...
I love that Glenn Miller song you selected. It's so soothing and reminds me of many of the old movies. I also loved "When Harry Met Sally".
