Coffee? Tea?

Fall y'all!
Yes, leaves on the Green Ash are turning... some of the swamp maples too. Grass is a goner.
Nights and mornings are chilly, days are mild and lovely.

The longest living cat on record, Creme puff,  lived to be 38 years old and was given coffee at breakfast all his life.  Breakfast for him was bacon, eggs, broccoli and coffee.
The previous ownder of the record was Grandpa Rex Allen who\ lived to be 34 years old on the same diet.
Coffee reduces chances of Alzheimers, Parkinsons.
Tea without adding milk can "tan" your bladder making for many problems  Milk binds the tanic acid making it safe to drink.
Homemade food increases an animal's life span too.  Let's talk about it, okay?

1. Coffee increases a bee's memory and does the same for you.      Bees love caffeinated coffee  flowers.  What
do you love about coffee or tea?
I like the warmth of the drinks.

2. If you opened a tea or coffee shop in your neighborhood what would it be named?  How would you decorate it? Would pastry or cake be served?
Maybe "The Rendezvous"  and yes, I would serve cake  and pasteries.   Wouldn't it be nice if a book club met there once a week too?

3. Beethoven required 60 beans per cup of coffee.  How particular are you about your coffee or tea?

I am particular.  I don't like strong coffee and it must be mellow.
4.Italian clergy in1600s  declared coffee the deIvil's brew and forbid it.
Pope Clement the VIII wanted to taste it, loved it and blessed it ... today, new research shows black coffee is drunk mainly by psychopaths...
Sweden banned coffee in 1746 as dangerous and Islam banned it for causing free thinking!
How do you take your coffee you free thinking, radical  you and what's your favorite brand of devil's brew?

I like WaWa's brand of coffee, Chock Full O'Nuts, Dunkin Donuts and Tim Horton coffee.
I take it in a medium brew with lots of cream.  I sometimes squirt some whipped cream on top too.

  1. I used to have a Tim Horton's in my neighbourhood. I miss walking there. Soon there will be a new subway station in the same location.

  2. I'd like to come to your coffee shop and join the book club as well. I might never leave as long as you served me English Breakfast tea.

  6. I like the name of your teahouse. I have several pages on tea at my old web home that I still have up. Maybe I will make a tea page at blogger. I think BJ's has the best coffee, but it is expensive!

  8. My mornings begin with a cup of hot tea , with lemon , and is usually the only tea of the day . When chilled , hot spiced apple cider or hot chocolate warms me nicely .

  9. That little squirt of whipped topping on top of your coffee sounds lovely! It makes it an "occasion". I've heard Tim Horton's coffee is good. I'll have to try it.
I think a book club would be a wonderful addition to your coffee shop. I've always wanted to be a part of one.

  10. Annie, I wanted to add one more comment after reading one of your comments on another blog. I wasn't upset with your black coffee and psychopaths remark at all. In fact, I giggled, and I know Mom would have giggled too. It's interesting how statistics can come up with the strangest things! LOL
