HodgePodge

Wednesday and another snowy countdown is starting. Will it or won't it? I am iced in and could use a couple of days above freezing to melt that pile of ice.  We missed the last round of snow as it stalled out in North Carolina just a hop, skip and a jump south of us.     They were welcome to it.

Here is this week's Wednesday HodgePodge... go on over and join in!!

 1. The Winter Olympics kick off on Friday, February 6th...on a scale of 1-10 how excited are you? (1= eh and 10=watching every event all day every day).
I am really not excited at all.
What's your favorite Winter Olympic sporting event?
It used to be women's figure skating.    I don't bother with the Olympics anymore though.

2. In other sporting news, the Superbowl (American football's championship game) will be played on Sunday, February 8th. So tell us...what's your superpower?
I guess my superpower is being stoic. At least my orthopedic surgeon tells me I am but I don't know. I think I would like the superpower of being invisible and indestructable whenever I want.

3. Are you romantic?   Yes, very much but I've always been alone in my romances.

4. Blue cheese, yay or nay? How about feta? If you said yes to one or both, what's a dish you like that calls for one of these?
I like all of these cheeses.   A Greek salad calls for feta and so does spinach pie. Blue cheese is wonderful anywhere and I like it on salad and as a dip.  Feta is good on soup too.

5. What's more important doing what you love or loving what you do?   I think they go together.

6.Insert your own random thought here.  Here in New Jersey the bays and parts of the ocean are frozen solid and people down in Cape May area are skating on the frozen ocean.  Here by the bay, they have the ice boats out as well and they are busy speeding all over the place!

Here are some photos stolen off FB all taken here this week  near my home on the bay/ocean.
Look at the frozen waves!  I don;t know who to credit for them but they are nice shots.

Keep warm, be happy, enjoy life as much as you can...
