As a busy week ends, I just want to stop and wish you all a nice weekend and a happy July 4th as well in case I don't get to post before that. I think I will, though.
Read the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights and thank God for them this week too. They are priceless.
In pioneer days, they used to celebrate with noise, lemonade( a rare treat then) and reading those precious documents so no one would forget and children would grow up with a reverence for them. If you start teaching children those things early they really do not forget.
Let's never let anyone take them from us.
I was so happy to see your comment on my blog. Yes to your question BTW. ;-}
ReplyDeleteI just love your new header and I too wish you a happy and lovely holiday weekend and 4th! I thank God constantly for our Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights. Thanks for posting that my friend. Hugs
Hi Annie
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many children in this day and age have read the Declaration of Independence? One of my family's greatest thrills was seeing an original copy of it in the national Archives in Washingtion, DC
Have a Happy 4th!
PS I love your new header painting!
ReplyDeletehappy Fourth of July. Hugs!
