I have been working on blog backgrounds. I found a general idea online and using the general idea, designed one of my own.
What do you think of this? Look at the entire layout..top and bottom as it is in two parts.
It uses Josh Peterson's 'Simple' layout for Blogger as the basis.

Very calming...of course everything you do is so artistic and fun to look at. I wish I could do more than just put pictures on mine.
