Just Another Manic Monday
Ordnance from the military base is shaking the house and I am not all that close to it either. All weekend, and all morning this morning so far. Ugh.. hate it.
The famous anonymous kid went camping in a state forest and my daughter has gone across the country to get a hospital up and running. It's what she does, she makes businesses work and she is much in demand to do just that.
I was up most of the night drawing.
I had gone to sleep at 9PM but by 1 AM my back was hurting enough to wake me and I have to get up and let the nerves shift at that point. So, I drew. Keeps me occupied and out of trouble.
You can see what I sort of accomplished HERE. I put up the unfinished drawing of a first century Jewish woman and also a post of a photo I took of the frozen pond.
I also put up a new recipe for Lavender Lemonade HERE
I am thinking of going back to bed ....what are you going to do today?

Ciao Annie, happy Monday. :)
ReplyDeleteAll is well, thank you. For you too, I hope.
xo
Sorry you are having sleep problems with the back.......but beautiful drawing! I too have some painful nights but all I can do is read,no talent like yours.
ReplyDeleteHi Annie! You've been busy and creative! Love the drawing of the woman! I also love seeing lavender fields! Interesting what your daughter does... we have a relative who sets up hospitals, too, and he travels to places all over the world- like he was in Abbu Dhabi (just realized I don't know how to spell that) recently. Enjoy the week ahead and I hope they stop bombing near you! :D
ReplyDeleteReminds me... when Obama was in LA last week, a cessna was in his airspace and they sent F-15's to intercept him and it was right over where we live. The house shook like crazy and the pets all got scared!
Hi Annie,
ReplyDeleteI love the drawing of thr lady and little Pug! A lavender lemonade sounds interesting. I am not sure how thay tastes but I love the smell of lavender. Hope your back does not give you too much trouble tonight. Hugs, Dru
Hi Annie;
ReplyDeleteI love learning more about your family. Your daughter's work must be very fulfilling. Your drawing is wonderful. I love all your art work. You and I are a lot alike in the way when I can't sleep I create graphics and drawings sometimes until the wee hours of the morning and I end up getting my sleep during the day. I gave up painting a long time ago.
Feel better soon my friend. Hugs
Hi Annie! Happy Thursday to you. I'm sorry to read of your back bothering you. I hope you're feeling better. Your art is amazing and I could look at it for hours. :) Have a wonderful day!
