Thoughts by the Bay

Just doing a bit of blog housekeeping and thinking about how to change things a bit. I have already made a few changes. Do you have a blinkie or graphic link for your blog?
The bay in the morning
If you do, would you share it with me so I can use it as a link to your site?

But Please.. only the small 150 X 20 kind as you can see in the side bar----> under Blog Friends.
The huge ones take up too much room. So if it is  uniform it will look better.

I might make a separate page for links but, I think for now they will stay on the front page.

Please let me know if you have on that you wish to share with me.
I will be searching sites today for some  that are already up and I have one or two  I already put up.

Sandy the storm is headed our way and I am hoping it will just veer off and leave us alone.  We don't need that much rain and it can be a huge problem for the pond outback which is apt to overflow. I will have to sandbag it  I think as the sides are way too low.   If not I will lose the fish.
Since I"ve had the larger ones forover 15 years now  that would be awful.
Today is gray and cloudy. No sunshine peeking out at all and the weather is becoming a bit warmer and humid as it always does when a hurricane or tropical storm is lurking about.
Photo can be enlarged .. just click on it.

  1. Hi Annie, I too did a few changes on my blog today. I do have a blinkie link that I made up awhile ago. Susan had asked me for one. I'll send it to you in email.
I was just checking up about Sandy the storm. Looks like she should be by us on Tuesday. I'm hoping to go shopping on the weekend to prepare. No post for me today but I just uploaded one for tomorrow. Hugs

  2. Hi Annie! Our weather was the same way here today. Very tropical and no sun. They are expecting Sandy to come inland on Sunday now anywhere from my neck of the woods to yours. :( I was really praying that she would veer out to sea. Beautiful Picture of the ocean! I love the blinkies! If you have one, may I have it? Have a wonderful Friday! Hugs.

  3. Hi Annie! I have a blinkie & I'll send that to you. It's going to look very nice once you get them up.

I hope Sandy passes by. How awful if you'd lose your fish! Are they too large to take out & place in something until this is over?

I loved seeing your dining area. Always so nice to get a glimpse into my friend's lives.

I'm glad you liked the pictures of the girls. Such priceless memories. I just posted more pics. :)

Have a wonderful day Annie, & praying that you're not affected by Sandy. Hugs

    1. Yes pond is too deep and there are too many large fish to catch. So I am going to try and sandbag around the edges.

  6. Hi Annie! I have a blinkie for my blog and I'll see if I can find an address to send it to. You photo looks like the wallpaper I have on my iPhone. A subtle blending of sand to sea. Hope Sandy doesn't give yo too much grief... are you in danger of flooding being so close to the water? Wishing you a calm weekend! (((Hugz)))
