Friends and family are like underpants...
Some ride your behind.
Some snap under pressure.
Some don't have the strength to hold up.
Some get twisted.
Some are supportive.
Some are old favorites.
Some are cheap and get bent out of shape.
Some actually cover your behind
when you need it.
Hi Annie, I have never heard that poem but it is funny and true. Is that a picture of you? I have seen pics of many of my online blog friends but I don't think I have seen you. I am planning a vacation on the east coast in 2014 for our 40th anniversary. Probably in the fall. In the planning stage. Any suggestions of what to see?
ReplyDeleteTons of suggestions for the east coast... NYC (Museums, the Met, Carnegie Hall,The Cloisters,Broadway shows). Boston (tons to see there), Philadelphia (Independence Hall, etc)
DeleteMystic Conn.(old seaport),
Don't miss New England in the fall.
In the south: Charleston, NC, Savannah Ga. (both elegant towns on the coast)
PS My photo is in my comment avatar. It was a photo taken by the Famous Anonymous Kid about 2 years ago.
DeleteHi Annie! Thanks for the chuckle. Have a great week. Hugs
ReplyDeleteLove the new header! I want to BE in that chair!!
ReplyDeleteThe poem is right on...sad to say...we keep hoping for more of the old favorites, supporters and cover-your-behind varieties .
Hope you are enjoying the summer ! Love,Katy
LOL very true! Hope you are doing well and enjoying the last bits of summer.
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, Love that poem! Hope all is well with you? I had a big issue with my sweet Billy Elliott yesterday. We are still waiting for some more tests results to come back. They ruled out the major stuff so far. He lost a lot of weight in a short period of a time that is why I took him in. I have no new post I was so distraught yesterday and trying to get back to my old self today I don't feel like posting about it yet. Have a great day. Hugs, Dru
