Meme: Sights and Sounds

This week's meme, which you can, of course, do anytime you want, is called Sights and Sounds and it explores how sight and sound effect our emotions and feelings.
 Here it is:

1. Do any smells remind you of anything or anyone? Do they evoke feelings and emotions for you?
 For me perfumes bring memories of those who wore them. Cooking food reminds me of home and good times. I love the smell of a clean house and freshly washed laundry. It gives me a peaceful, accomplished feeling inside.
My Mother's perfume brings memories of her.
Yardley oatmeal soap reminds me of my father, always clean and neat and fresh smelling.

2. Do you have a signature perfume that you love to wear?
 My signature perfumes are Yves St. Laurent's Paris and Guerlain's Shalimar.
My mothers signature fragrance was Charlie and it reminds me of her to this day.

 3. What kinds of scents do you find pleasing?
 Citrus scents and outdoorsy scents like Balsam and Cedar

 4. Do you enjoy burning candles in your home? What scents do you like?
I like seasonal scents and Balsam and outdoorsy scents are favorites.

 5. If you had to choose one landscape to view every day, would it be a city, farm, forest and country perhaps with pond or lake, or the ocean?

 I like the farms, country, lake or ocean as scenery that I could view all the time. City views would be a distance 3rd choice. I prefer towns to cities any day.

6. Do you like to have art hanging in your home? What kind do you like most?
I like the art of Edouard Cortes and Kristin Nelson. Different but both make me happy.
