What snow we got disappeared in rain and only dustings here and there remain as the weather heated up to a balmy 41F today. More snow on the way tonight and tomorrow.Winter is still with us.

Hi Annie! So glad to read that the weather wasn't that bad for you. We were in the bullseye and ended up with about 2 and half feet. Today was 40 degrees here as well. Crazy weather! I typically watch the winter Olympics but I'm not this year due to the fact they are being held in Russia. Have a great weekend and Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteI really like Winter Olympics, but unfortunately I'm not able to follow them as I'd like to for reasons of work.
ReplyDeleteAmong all the sports that are in contest that I love most is the ice skating, both because I'd have liked to practice it as a child, but where I lived it wasn't really possible, and because we have such a great name such as Carolina Kostner who "flies" like a butterfly .. I hope to be able to follow at least some races of hers !!

Hi, Annie. It's been quite a winter in many parts of the country. Here in Florida, there is no snow but we've been getting lots of rain and chilly weather! Hugs
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday Annie! We have 2 feet on the ground and drifts of 4-6 feet with another few inches coming todday. I'm really hating this winter as it reminds me of the old-fashioned winters we used to get years ago. I'll be posting your meme today. Have a wonderful weekend my friend. Hugs
ReplyDeleteHi Annie. So glad you chose the Olympics for you subject this week since I'm watching them as I write this. :) Have my fave in both the Summer & Winter ones. Right now, it's figure skating & snow boarding. In the summer it's beach volleyball & gymnastics. What could be better than watching amazing athlete's doing what they do best. Thanks Annie.

ReplyDeleteHi Annie, We of course were having beach weather for a few weeks in the 80's now we are back to our normal weather of 70's. Happy to hear you got a little break from the cold. I don't usually watch the Olympics and if I did I would not this year as Kim said because it is being held in Russia where they are in violation of Human and Animal rights. I support our teams of course but I don't need to watch to be in support. Hope you have a wonderful evening. Hugs, Dru
