The Story of Our National Anthem Great Heroism

The British gave the inhabitants of Fort McHenry in Baltimore,Maryland  a 'way out': lower the flag and live, fly it and all, including a very large number women and children, would die in some of the heaviest barrages of fire power of the war.
Fort McHenry was not primarily a military fort and housed families.
The new Americans kept that flag flying by holding it up until the bodies of the dead themselves kept it upright. Americans would rather stand up and die free than live on their knees under tyranny.

Many have trashed the anthem saying it has nothing to do with the freedom of America. They are wrong. They don't know history.. not the politically correct garbage that poses as history today, but the real deal.
Today, America is under internal assault from those who do not value liberty, freedom or the sovereignty of nations.
But here is the story that every American should be more than proud of.     It says it all. It tells what it means to be an American, the greatest gift ever and should inspire all those who love liberty to follow in their footsteps.
