Friday afternoon was spent in the ER after another attack of A Fib.
But I got out the same day :) glad to say.
I see the heart surgeon on Tuesday so we will see but he told me this could still happen while scar tissue builds up in my heart (we want that).
See, in an ablation they burn your heart about 100 times so scar tissue can interrupt the electrical signals that cause the heart to beat erratically and fast. We will see.
Here are some photos for
Friday Foto Friends hosted by Debbie
They are old ones I have taken at various times. I hope you enjoy them.

ReplyDeleteSo glad I found your blog...your photos are beautiful. We are now in Ohio but I grew up in Yardley, PA. We used to rent a house on LBI (Beach Haven). As soon as I win that lottery, I am running back and buying a house in Stone Harbor, probably my most favorite place in all the world. That little town will always be home to me; I love it so. We will be there this summer but only for a week...which I will treasure!
I am glad you came to visit and I hope to see you often. Stone Harbor is wonderful! I hope your week there will be wonderful for you. :)
Deleteby the way, I went to college in Ohio at Ohio U in Athens.
DeleteOh, Annie, I am sorry you had to spend the day in the ER! I was wondering about you last night before I went to bed, because I had not seen anything here from you nor had you visited my "kitchen" blog...I missed you! Praying that all goes well with your AFib situation, and that it heals just the way they promised it would. Please take good care of yourself and rest this weekend. I love your pictures of the ponds...I guess the fish just go to the bottom for the winter and they can stay warm enough to survive? Your peaceful bay and the rocky shore are both beautiful in their own way. I am happy to see the lovely area surrounding you! Thank you for sharing it with us. Now...take care of yourself, and have a peaceful, restful weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pamela. They usually keep you over night until you maintain sinus rhythm for 24 hours but I convinced them to let me come home.:)
DeleteFish hibernate in winter so you don't feed them once the water temps are 50 and below. As the weather warms I will feed them again.
My pond is over 3 ft deep at one end so they can stay warmer plus I use a heater for ponds to keep it ice free in one area so gases can escape.
{{{ANNIE}}}} sorry for yelling. Keeping you in prayer, please keep us updated, sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteI am so insanely jealous of our photos (grin)....one day, one day, one day, I shall get back to the water. smiles
SO glad you're safely home and that you were treated (intentional pun) well .
ReplyDeleteHopefully the surgery will yield the expected positive result and AFib will be a thing of the past for you.You are a dear friend...wrapped in prayers by us all !
Be well !
I always enjoy the fotos you share...and at my age I can't remember if you'v shared them before, so it's perfectly okay! :) Prayers for you sweet blogging Friend...keep us posted on what the doctors says. My Mom has A-fib (and dementia/ALZ)...some days are a struggle. :'(
ReplyDeleteI've had A Fib since I was 29 years old. Not nice at all.
DeleteI hope you will be feeling better in no time although I have no idea what it is like to have A Fib. I do hope that our heavenly Father would make things more comfortable for you. xx
