Welcome to Tuesday 4 friends and happy Tuesday.
It's been rainy and thundery. Yesterday there was a hail storm and things cooled down significantly.
Last night I watched a movie you might enjoy if you like actions movies. It is about government betrayal involving astronauts and general government corruption. Very good movie on YouTube called Fall of Hyperion or Total Eclipse. Find it HERE.
It reminded me of what has been going on for so long now.
Now, here is Tuesday 4.
1. What do you consider the most important job or chore to do in housekeeping?
Keeping the house organized and straightened up.
2. Do dishes ever sit over night in your sink?
Rarely but it does happen sometimes.
3. Is being a stay at home mom a real career ?
Of course and the most important one.
4. Can you share favorite brands of dish soap, cleaners, detergents or perhaps a tip on making house keeping easier?
I used to like Joy dish detergent, but now I use Ajax with an orange scent to it. I also like Ivory too.
I used to use Oxydol which I loved, but as its hard to find I use either All or Tide now.
I like to use Murphy's Oil soap for cabinets and floors and I use Sprayway for glass cleaning. I think it does the best job.
My main tip for housekeeping is.. clean up as you go especially when cooking so you don't have a huge mess at the end.
Hi Annie:
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers today.
Have a good Tuesday.
I agree with your last statement; clean up as you go. I hope you have a beautiful day, Ann.
ReplyDeleteClean up as you go along is the best advice. I learned that lesson when I worked for a small, home-based, cookie business.
ReplyDeleteCleaning as you go is huge in the kitchen. I learned that from my Granie. That way you don't have a huge mess when you are done...my mom is that kind of cook that does not clean as she cooks. Loved your answers! Have a great Tuesday!

I keep Murphy's in my supplies also!! Thanks for hosting, hope you're having a great day.
ReplyDeleteGreat Tuesday 4, I especially like and agree with your cleaning tip. That's why on the rare occasions that my husband cooks the kitchen is a total disaster afterward LOL. Have a great day! :)
ReplyDeleteYes a stay at home mom is an important job! I enjoyed your answers and reading about your favorite products.
