Blog Challenge

Hey friends, time for Sunday Stealing... here we go

Hi! I'm your host Bev Sykes of the blog "Funny the World". . Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!

1. An unforgettable day in my life. The day my children were born was very unforgettable.

2. My favorite snacks.  I like savory things mostly. I like Potato chips a lot.

3. My biggest fashion accessory.      Hair accessories , necklaces and earrings

4. My biggest celebrity crush. I really never had a crush on a celebrity.

5. One Hobby I would like to learn. I would like to learn to golf.

6. My OCD habits.  None are really too OCD but I do protect my wood tables from water damage. I do offer coasters and chargers at the table.

7. If I could eat one last meal   Probably something Mexican or Italian.

8. Working on my fitness.     I lift little weights and dance.

9. What I spend money on:     Food, utilities, make up.

10. My favorite recipe.  There are just so many good foods that I like to make I can't list just one.

11. The best part of each season.
In summer  I never want  to leave the beach at night   I want  to stay all night long  to feel the warm night air.  It is a deeply romantic atmosphere. The sounds of the waves is so romantic to me. I didn't want the time to end.  And the sound of boats on the inlet at night... cicadas and motorcycles in the distance going by on the roadway.    I love the sounds of night in summertime.
Spring is the sound of Peeper frogs in the ponds and salt marshes. My yard is filled with these itty bitty little frog in spring.
Autumn is the sound of owls in the night, the cry of the vixens in the woods, the rustle of leaves on the ground and the glory of the colors. The chill in the air and the scent of fireplaces being kindled all around.  The sounds of high school football games is happy.
Winter is the silence of snow in the woods.. ice on the ponds.. geese in the distance and the sound of coyotes howling at  the winter moon.  Winter is staying cozy inside while the wind blusters outside your door.

12. A life lesson I’ve learned. Never weary in well doing, stay the course, take things easy and be good.

13. My inspiration to blog.. to leave a record of my  time on earth.

14. What’s inside my closet?  Some clothing... a few pairs of shoes, 2 purses.

15. Let me brag a minute. My kids are the best. They are just almost perfect in every way. They are successful and moral.  And its just the truth.

  1. Wonderful answers! I loved your descriptions of the seasons...that was beautiful to read and to imagine in my mind's eye as well. Yes, I could agree with most every answer you gave. Also, #13..."to leave a record of my time on earth". I like that response...the only question I have for all of us bloggers is, what happens to our blog once we depart from this earth? Does it just sit there in cyberspace? I wish there was a way to preserve it in a book or something. I also wish that Toni had not taken down her "Toni's Creative Adventures" from the blog. We have no way to go back and read them again. I am glad you are carrying on the Tuesday questions in her memory. I wonder if you could ask your readers who do the Tuesday meme if any of them have any of Toni's creative adventures in their "archives", if they ever participated in them. Maybe we could revive some of them again in her memory. I think I only did two or three of them as I was kind of new to them and then she took that page down. Just a thought. Have a wonderful Sunday. This was very lovely today.

  2. You're so blessed to have children. That's something I could never do. I enjoyed your answers, like always.
    My answers:
#2 - Snack: Cheese but I'm lactose intolerant, thus have to take pills to keep from being in pain. Love that stuff though.
#4 - Celebrities: I'm with you. I don't care for "celebrities" but when I was a teeny bopper, my heart throbbed for Davey Jones of The Monkees. But, I was a child and thought as a child. *grin*
#8 - Fitness: Quit eating sugar and carb's. Lost LOTS of weight, blood sugar normal, teeth tartar diminished, hair grew back, heart rhythm now normal, all without exercising. Win win!
#9 - Money: Food, utilities, medicine, home maintenance, gasoline.
#10 - Favorite recipe: Steve takes chicken thighs with the skin on and bakes something called Garlic Chicken. It's so good.
Well, I've bored you enough. *lol* Time for Sunday School and Church. One of my favorite days of the week. Have a good one! Keep looking up. Jesus is coming back soon. xx
