Just Wondering

Welcome to Tuesday 4 by Toni Taddeo... Let's do one of Toni's last Tuesday 4 posts published December 9, 2019.     It is the Ides of March!  Take care Julius they are coming for you.

A Repeat ~ Just Wondering

1.   When was the last time you tried something new?:    This year. I tried using gel nail polish and I really like it.  I started to get pedicures on my little feet  and wow, is that ever great!

2.   Who in your family do you compare yourself to?:  To my father.   He taught me how to think and learn and to never follow the crowd but to investigate and think for myself.

3.   What lesson in life did you learn the hard way?:  That people can be seriously disappointing and that  they fool themselves  in many very bad ways.  Also that in the finale analysis  it is always just you and God.

4.   What can you do today that you weren't able to do before?:    Hard to answer.   I think I have gotten better at things I was able to do. It's a process after all.
Something new I learned is that the Latin C is pronounced like a hard K.   So, Caesar is pronounced like Kaiser.  They recently found a pronunciation key for Latin ending centuries of debate on the C sound.

  1. I am studying what you are talking about in #4. It is the basis of teaching kids how to read and understand where our language comes from. It is interesting and very eye opening. Loved your answers! Have a nice week!
