California Dreamin'

Hello and Happy Monday friends. The new Tuesday 4 is up and titled, Summertime and the Living is Easy.
I sure hope you will drop by and join in.  The link is in the side column....>

We did not get the promised big rain and my shrubs, trees, grass is dying off.    We had a very wet Spring but a dry summer.  It's been cooler than usual but not enough rain.   I think many places can relate.  Even the Reine River is drying up and here in the US the Colorado is not doing well.  Lakes Powell and Mead are in desperate shape as is the Salton Sea.  They have never been so low and are in danger of disappearing.  The west cannot go on without them.
Poor California famers if this continues!  Pray for the western states as they are in dire straits with this drought.   Most regular people won't feel it yet but the farms will and California is a great source of fruits and vegetables.

  1. I sure hope there is relief soon. We all depend on CA for so much! And it's nice to have weather that is seasonal and good for the crops.

  2. I live in the west, and trust me, it's so dry! We depend on a large reservoir to furnish water for the crops here in, Idaho, and it is as low as it's ever been. In some places we have had more rain than others, but here in the high desert where I live, we are struggling. I will be praying that, California get the needed rain to keep supplying the country with the wonderful produce that we depend on. I love California Dreamin', takes me back to my teenage years ;0)
