Simple Woman's Day Book

For Today
Visit

Looking out my window
It is cold and a bit cloudy at 10:30PM Sunday night
The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Nothing is stirring.

I am thankful
For all I have. My home, my friends.

I am creating
{whether you are a knitter, mixed-media artist, enjoy scrap-booking, etc., share}

I am wearing
"coffee" themed light gray pajamas

Tonight I watched Charlie Chan in Rio.. very entertaining!
I am about to watch The Machine.. a scu fi movie.
The Machine was fair to middling. Not a very good movie over all.

In my kitchen
Wanting to make a home made pizza with the cauliflower crust. It's been a while and I do like them.
I also need to bake a nice chicken in my little oven.

In my garden
Things are dormant for the winter. Not all leaves have fallen, but what has fallen covers the yard deeply.  I have not had someone come to clean them up.  I must look for someone to do that for me.
I want to plan out my garden for this year.  I want tons of flowers.

A copy of this quote hangs in my office.

A moment from my day

These two large paintings hang in my home. Of course they have oak frames in person.  They need to be readjusted on the wall on either side of the television that hangs on my wall.

  1. I enjoyed your answers. Its currently 51 here at 5:40 am Monday. Not bad. I figured old man winter isn't over with us just yet here in Florida. Ok, I need to finish getting ready for work, smiles.

  3. I love the pictures too!! They must really look nice in the oak frames. I also like the film noir movies, I just watched a good one a few nights ago. I've tried to remember the name of it so I could share, but for the life of me it's gone. That's a great quote, a great reminder to be yourself. Our A/C has been on for days, I don't know if we'll get any more days cold enough for the heater. Normal for life on the Texas Coast.

  4. I like your Oscar Wilde quote. Also the seagulls flying all over your blog. I tried that on my blog and they made quite a mess on the computer monitor and keyboard.

    God bless.

  5. I really liked reading your daybook. My garden is also covered in a thick layer of leaves, perfect mulch to keep it warm this winter... at least that's what I think ;0) I've never had a pizza with cauliflower crust, I think I would like it, I need more veggies. Love the quote and the pictures, they are beautiful.
