Sunday Stealing.

Happy Sunday friends.
Last night I saw Wicked.  It was good but very long. Part 2 comes out next year. The story is completely changed and the Wizard of Oz is.. well, I won't tell you.   I hope there is a next year in which to see it though.  I am not holding my breath.
Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande were stellar in the parts of Elphaba and Galinda.  I liked the sweet demeanor of Cynthia Erivo's character. She played it so well and I always love to hear Ariana Grande's lovely voice.  The two voices were perfect together.  Its great to see the two become best of friends.

Stolen from League of Extraordinary Penpals

What was the last song you listened to?
"Defying Gravity" from Wicked.

What is your favorite thing about the place you live?
The beautiful scenery, the ocean, the bay, the very temperate weather... no real extremes.

What is your earliest childhood memory?
I can remember way way back to being a little baby and being changed on my parents chenille bedspread.  I remember looking out the window at the sunshiny day.  I was probably about 6 months old.  But I started talking at 6 months and was walking by 9.   People used to say how early that is but I have met tons of people who can say the same thing.   My mother kept  a record in my baby book.

If you could be any animal, what would you be?
There are so many disadvantages to being an animal that I really can't choose.

Who do you trust the most in your life?
God, family, friends

How many languages can you say "hello" in?
A lot. Did you want a list? Besides English, there is German ,Spanish, French, Italian, Cree, Navajo,  Russian, Polish, Chinese, Swedish, Norwegian and probably a few more here and there.   We pick up a lot a long the way in life don't we?

What is your favorite kind of weather?
I am partial to chilly, rainy fall weather and snowy winter weather. For summer I like warm breezy days when I can smell the salt water in the air.

How did you discover that Santa wasn't real and how old were you?
Well, he is real. St. Nicholas was a real person.

What is the best feeling in the world?
Being happy.
    What is your favorite color?
I have a few... blue, green, purple, pink, yellow, red-orange.

Is there a language you would love to learn?
I would like to learn German and Italian

How do you feel about reality TV?
I think it is a bad idea. I think most of it is scripted and/or the people  encouraged to misbehave to attract viewers. Now then , it does not speak well of the viewers in my opinion.

Did you ever skip school when you were a kid?
No. just stayed home if I was sick.

What is your least favorite food?
Steak or roast beef which I find boring and bland unless you add tons of gravy.  It also doesn't fill me up much either.

Do you have a good luck charm?
No. I don't believe in them.

  4. Happiness can come and go, but our joy in the Lord never wavers. I so love cooler weather like we are enjoying right now and am looking forward to the holidays. Blessings, Annie!

  5. I would like to learn Dutch and maybe enough German and French to get along if traveling there. I already know some basic Spanish, and Italian is similar enough that I think I could figure out the basics as needed. I am enjoying this cooler weather we are having here in Florida right now. Bright sunny cool days are what we have the most of during the fall/winter months. It is good compensation for the months of hot, humid, miserable days in the summer! It sounds like you love most all colors! I am not a "pink or orange or red" kind of person...I like cooler colors, but some burnt orange/brown for fall. Your early childhood memories are amazing. I don't believe I can remember much before age 2, but at age 2 I had a traumatic experience in falling and knocking up into my gums my two front teeth and going to the dentist to have them pulled out and having ether...I remember all of that...seems like I mostly remember the traumatic things of early childhood. LOL. Thankfully there weren't too many. I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving week and day!

  6. I want to see the new Wicked movie. There are two or three movies I wanna see before that, before they leave town. I suspect Wicked will be around for the rest of the year;it's doing decent box office. I saw the musical when it was on tour and of course I've seen the movie The Wizard of Oz. I read the book Wicked but I didn't really take to it

  7. So glad you had a nice time yesterday !
I do wish the producers would leave well enough alone . It seems that no matter how many versions are made , the early ones are the best !
We had a bit of rain recently...so grateful , as we've been under drought watch/water and outdoor fire restriction since mid-October . Hopefully , more rain is on the way ! Hoping all is well with each of you !

    1. I hated the Judy Garland version and prefer the new one. The evil wizard of Oz reminds me of Trump.
