I am joining in with the stealing again this week.
Welcome to Sunday Stealing. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!.
Last week we shared questions that centered around your bathroom. This week, with questions stolen from Manic Monday, we're moving to the bedroom.
~Back to Bed~
1. Let's say your alarm wakes you up with music. What would be the worst song to hear first thing in the morning?
I can't think of any one song but anything jarring and loud and I don't want rock in the morning either.. I hate alarms with the progressive beep in the morning. Right now I use my phone when I need to and its set to a cuckoo clock sound. The problem is I can say, "Stop" and it goes off and I do that half asleep and roll over and go back to sleep. There don't seem to be musical alarms anymore. Radio alarms don't work here as I live in a micro--climate kind of place where radio and TV signals aren't really receivable except with cable.
2. How many pillows do you sleep with? 2 or 1 depending on which side I sleep on.
3. What size mattress do you sleep on? Queen sized mattress.
4. Do you always sleep on the same side of the bed? Usually on the right or if you are at the foot of the bed it would be on your left.
5. Do you make your bed every day? Yes
6. Do you keep water on your bedside table? No. I would spill it.
8. What's under your bed? Nothing usually. Soimetimes this guy------------------------------------------------->
9. Do you sleep in total darkness or do you like to have a light on? I sleep in the dark and being I lived by the water and the forest.. it's really dark!
10. What do you remember about your childhood bedroom?
The yellow wallpaper with blue cornflowers and pink little flower bunches on it. Until I was 14 I shared a room with my grandmother, which I loved doing as we were two conspirators.
At 14 we finally moved into a Victorian house and my grandmother bought me my Gond with the Wind dream cherry wood 4 poster bed and dresser. I loved the room but, missed her though she was right next door in the next room.
LHere is a link to Tuesday 4... I do hope you will join in with us.

You and I have the same answers (if I were to post this, lol)--well, nearly, I am 45-60 min from the Gulf and Atlantic. But we do live in the country, so, yeah, darkness as well. Wishing you a beautiful day my friend.
ReplyDeleteUsing something like the phone for an alarm is problematic for the reasons you cite. I use Alexa and to combat that, I have set two alarms. One goes off at 6 a.m. and the other goes off at 6:30 a.m. Sometimes I set a 6:15 a.m. if I need to get up, just to be safe.
ReplyDeleteNow that we're retired, alarms are never set. My body's rhythm wakes me up at a naturally decent time in the mornings, so all is good. Have a great week, Annie!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful header ! I do enjoy your paintings !
ReplyDeleteAlarms are only set when there is an early morning appointment . At this age , there is a certain freedom in waking up...whenever ! Have a splendid day !
