Here is my Tuesday 4 for this week.
1. Where have you traveled and what is the furthest you've been from home?
Utah is the farthest I have been.  I never had the money to really travel like some.

2. Is there a location other than where you are, that you think would be a nice place to live?

Camden, Maine would be nice.  The movie Peyton Place was filmed there.
Didn't you know it would be a seaside town?
The movie Peyton Place was considered very controversial in it's day.  I saw it on televsion  and enjoyed it as I like older films.

3. Do you have a photo or story from a favorite place to visit?
Yes..  Cape May N.J.  the oldest beach resort in America where Presidents like Lincoln stayed in the summer.   The town is a step back to time and its right on the ocean.

Cape May, NJ.  We nearly bought a B&B here but something came up and we put it off.   We should have.
I've written about Cape May  HEREHERE and HERE with many very nice photos.

On the right is the home we seriously considered buying.
Oh how I wish we had.

4. What dream destination do you have tucked away in  your heart? Do you think you'll be able to visit them one day or are plans in the making?
As a kid I wanted to go to Tahiti very much.  No, I will not be able to go and no plans are in the making.
It is way out of my budget.

  1. Thanks for sharing. I honestly can't imagine a UV index of 10. The highest we've had here is 8 and I considered that extreme.

  2. Woulda, coulda, shouda, is no way to live life to the fullest. With that said, I do have regrets, but I'm embracing the life God has given me right here and right now. Blessings, Annie!

  5. Years ago , there was a TV add about a contest , whose prize was $50,000 for a dream vacation . I never entered , but it began a mental journey to determine what destination would fulfill that for me . The usual suspects were considered and discarded . The very real dream revealed itself to be the rental of a tiny ocean-side cottage , within the sound of surf and walking distance to a little grocer and a small family restaurant . The entire $50,000 would be spent there... thirty minutes from my home !!!

  6. Cape May looks like a beautiful place as does the area in Maine you showed. Probably anywhere in Maine is gorgeous especially in the Fall season. I also wanted to go to Tahiti but only as a stopover on the way back from Australia. Flight schedules never worked out. That's how we ended up in Hawaii.
