Here is this week's Sunday Stealing.
Welcome to Sunday Stealing. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!
This week, all eyes turn to Mary, who long ago played Wednesday Medley, which she credited to Terri D (Your Friend from Florida), who originally came up with the questions.
A Wednesday meme on a Sunday
1. Name five songs that you have completely memorized. There are dozens and dozens so where do I start.
O Susanna, Erie Canal, Annie's Song, 'Tis Autumn, Cathy's Clown (Everly Brothers)
2. What takes up too much of your time? Internet of course. YouTube in particular.
3. What TV show or movie do you refuse to watch? I don't watch programs that are upsetting due to violence or bad language or too much social garbage. I want entertainment not propaganda or war etc.
4. What's worth spending more on to get the best? Ithink food is worth buying the best you can afford. Sadly food prices are so high it's disgusting and no one is doing anything about it either.
5. Share something you did last week. Absolutely nothing special. Did laundry, cleaned the house, made meals, watched som documentaries. boring but that is it!
Kids of a certain age in NYS, like me, learned the Erie Canal in school. But my wife, eight years younger, did not. I was surprised.
ReplyDeleteI don't like to watch gore or horror movies.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you regarding television/movies.
ReplyDeleteI had to learn the Erie Canal song in elementary school and then teach it to my K-6 students when I did my music student teaching. I think every public school kid in NYS had to sing that ad nauseum. hahah (i mean it makes sense!) I walk on the Erie Canal path about 3x a week in my area.
I don't like gore or horror or reality shows. complete waste of time and too upsetting.
Food prices...for the good stuff...healthy/vegan, etc are SO high right now. our nation is in trouble. in more ways that one!
Happy Sunday
No horror movies for me! My imagination is too vivid to bear those. Have a great Sunday, Annie!
ReplyDeleteO Susanna - I forgot all about that one!! Food is so expensive right now.
ReplyDeleteGetting better quality food is absolutely important to me ! The amount of food that grocery stores waste because it doesn't fit their standards , is appalling...to say nothing of that practice helping to raise food prices , too ! I subscribe to Misfits Market , that offers mostly organic produce and groceries , that might otherwise be tossed out ( too big , too small , slightly misshapen , etc .) . I share this as a possibility for others who may benefit from having more affordable organic foods delivered to their homes . I have been very satisfied with the company , their staff and the products they offer , and benefit in no way from the company .
