You can see the weather forecast and the tides on my weather app at the page bottom if you are interested. I like following the weather around the world so I have windy.com on my computer which lets me see wave height, clouds, temperatures all over the world.
When I go out to feed the fish, they are always gathered at the edge of the pond waiting for me like little puppies. After they get their meals they do their zoomies around the pond. They love to play in the rain drops as well as their waterfall. They each have individual personalities.
Here is Wednesday Hodgepodge.
1. Are you more life of the party or more party pooper? If your answer is somewhere in the middle which side of the middle do you lean towards more?
I am in the middle. It depends on whose party it is, why I am there and who I know as to how I feel. I am most comfortable with people I know or am related to.
Birthday party, beach party, cocktail party, dinner party, charity fundraiser, surprise party, costume party, garden party, Christmas party, reunion...what's your favorite kind of party?
Dinner parties are my favorite. I am not fond of surprise anything let alone a party. Holiday parties are wonderful. I've never been to a costume party but I think it would be quite fun.
2. Cheese, wine, and balsamic vinegar all improve with age. What would you personally add to the list?
People can improve with age if they want to. Some clothing improves with age becoming super soft and comfortable .
3. How do you feel about your birthday? How do you want to be celebrated? Or don't you?
Except for children, I do not want to celebrate my own or your birthday and resent being often forced to do so.
People get offended if you don't celebrate them. In my religious background birthdays were not done except for a child with their favorite meal for dinner letting them know they are valued but in a low key way.
4. What remarkable feat, interesting piece of trivia, or historical event occurred on your birth day and month? Not necessarily your same birth year, just the same date/month.
Thanksgiving often falls on my birthday and always in my birth month which is November. My birthdate is the same as John F. Kennedy Jr.
5. Share two good things about your life right now.
I am alive and I enjoy living.
6. Insert your own random thought here. Blogger is ginvg me problems with uploading pictures. I am having to drag them into the post. We will see if it is a temporary glitch. I recentely cleaned the computer thoroughly and things may need to fall back into place.
It can be so stressful when there are glitches with blogger. Hopefully this will get resolved soon. Same birthday as JFK..how neat! I have two nephew who more often than not have to celebrate their birthdays with Thanksgiving. They are really good sports about it though...So nice to visit your blog...
ReplyDeleteI thought I would be the last to post my Hodgepodge blog today; however, being late allowed me to meet you. I must confess to being a bit envious of your temperature there. In Texas, our temps are in the mid-90's and that is just not right. Regarding blogger issues, they can be so very frustrating. I realized several years ago that the server I was using was the cause of pictures not uploading well. Now, I generally copy the pictures I want to use because it is quicker.
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely header...I'm such a fan of your paintings !
ReplyDeleteI've had issues with blogger loading photos on my laptop and have resorted to loading them via my phone which is definitely not ideal. Hope you get it sorted!
ReplyDeleteThat is interesting how you share a birthday with John F. Kennedy. I still remember when he was shot. They sent us home early from school. Teachers were crying and my parents were so sad and mom was crying. I like your header! I posted T4 today too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Susan. It is John Kennedy Jr his son that I share a birthday with, not the President but his little boy.
DeleteI love celebrating birthdays for children, but not into big things for myself. However, one birthday I'll always remember is when my husband, Danny, surprised me with a swimming with the whale sharks gift at the Georgia Aquarium one year. I can still recall touching those silky sides and having random fish floating by right in front of my goggles. Blessings, Annie!
ReplyDeleteI would love to come over and feed the fish, smiles. Wishing you a lovely day, Annie.
ReplyDeleteGreat answers. I agree with #1.
