Sunday Stealing

Sunday is the day of stealing.  We don't know why but it is. So here I am  with my answers to this week's questions from Sunday Stealing.

  • Hobbies I've learned from a friend
  • None.  I think I just came up with things that I enjoyed on my own. I don' have friends that share any of my hobbies or activities.
  • My physical activity preferences
  • I am not as active as I used to be and have difficulty walking.
  • Music I think is essential for everyone to hear
  • Classical music is very important to development of the mind and improving intelligence, relaxation and calming the heart.  My Blogger profile lists other music I can recommend from other genres.  If you are interested in my lists you can access it by clicking on my profile on the sidebar of this page.
  • Something I have to relearn every time I do it
  •  I can't think of anything like that.  Maybe the TV and its 9 gazillion channels?
  • When I start thinking about holiday season planning
  • Holidays begin in September for me, so I am considering menus and things in August.
  • Quirks & preferences I have about writing letters
  • I once loved collecting writing paper.  I do like using a nice pen to write with too. Years ago I used a fountain pen.
  • If I had to limit my reading to only 3 genres, I’d pick...
  • History, Mystery and Religion. Currently I am reading about Athanasius of Alexandria who fought against the heretical belief of Arianism.
  • When joining teams, would I rather lead or follow
  • Depends on the team and who has the most expertise. It's not a matter of wanting to lead it is a matter of who fits the office at the time.
  • What’s my dream concert, and who would be performing
  •  I would like to see the New York or London Philharmonic Orchestras.  I've seen the New York Philharmonic a number of times, especially when I was a child but they are so wonderful it's worth dreaming about seeing them again.     The London orchestra did a tribute to John  Williams (James Bond, Star Wars and so many other themes).  It would also be nice to see Andre Reiu.  Here he is with his orchestra in Maastricht, Netherlands.

  • The funniest, weirdest, silliest, animal/pet I’ve ever met
  • A cute Jack Russell terrier.  A fish I had named Molly (she was a black molly fish) who loved being silly.  Kaiser my dad's German shepherd who got drunk on liquor that leaked from its bottle.   Also the animals of  the RxCKSTxr on Reels... so much fun.
  • How has love changed for me over the years
  • Love my little family more and more.
  • A book, movie, or song that brings me a sense of peace
  • A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott.
  • Names I like but wouldn’t suit me
  • I can't think of ones I like that wouldn't suit.  I can think of names I don't like that wouldn't fit me and probably don't fit anyone!
  • What’s a part of myself I’m still working to understand
  • Why my brain goes in 100 directions at once.
  • Something I love about myself today
  • That I am fine with myself.

  4. All of your responses are interesting. This question: Something I have to relearn every time I do it: visiting a business or financial website infrequently and finding that I have to come up with a new password. I am diligent to keep track of my passwords but it seems some sites just require that we change the password every few months. This irritates me. Other than that, life is good.

    1. Get a small notebook where you can keep your passwords. The notebook can be cleverly hidden or put in a safe.

  5. I imagine a drunk German Shepherd would be funny. Did the alcohol hurt him?
