Here by the water it's up to 10 degrees cooler than inland so that's always nice! Also, in winter we tend to be a bit warmer than inland!
Here is this week's Sunday Stealing.| Stealing! |
This week we were inspired by Lucky Zoan. She suggested themes for letters to particular people. Let's change it up a bit and imagine conversations rather than correspondence.
What Would You Say At This Moment to:
1) Someone you have hurt? I am sorry.
2) Someone who has hurt you? I usually say nothing but let it build up inside.
3) Your favorite teacher from grade school? I didn't have one but, one teacher wore Yardley Violet cologne and that was nice. I could tell her how much I liked the scent.
4) Your most hated teacher from high school? My most disliked teacher was in 3rd grade not high school. She was strict, unpleasant and unfair. I would tell her how awful she was.
5) Your best friend from college?
I would say, Helen, thanks for the good times at school and in the car riding home with Diane... all the laughs we had. Those were great times.
6) Your favorite recording artist? Sorry you passed away so soon.
7) Your favorite author? You really knew how to write a good, fast moving novel! (Robert B . Parker)
8) Your first boss? As head chemist, I don't think you should have been patting me on the backside all the time but honestly, I didn't mind it. I thought it was kind of sweet. Yeah.. I know, I know but I was pretty young and naive.
9) Your first love? You turned out to be a real horse's behind . My daughter said I really dodged a bullet! Yup!
10) Your true love? Never met him. He is a mystery man!

'I usually say nothing but let it build up inside." I know THAT one; I exploded, in the office, about 10 months after a move to a cubby that was THE worst, worst working space EVER.
ReplyDelete'"I usually say nothing but let it build up inside."--girl, you are talking to me...and I am at that breaking point. I have had enough of the dr. and her insanity, the workplace...anyways, it is what it is, right? Wishing you a lovely Sunday my friend.
ReplyDeleteI agree the head chemist shouldn't have been touching you. The things women have to put up with.
ReplyDeleteWe did put up with lots of what would now be called abusive behavior. I don't let things get to me any more, like holding in my emotions. Have a great Sunday, Annie!
ReplyDeleteWonderful header...those fireworks are spectacular !!!
ReplyDeleteI especially like watching fireworks displays over the water ! From that little local park, one could see as each of six towns or so put on their program...so special !
You always have the greatest graphics!! I love your header. I enjoyed reading your answers and I hope you meet a real true love someday. Sending you a ((hug)) across the miles.♥
