Simple Woman's Daybook:
Outside my window... The day is sunny with temperatures in the 70°Fs.
I am thinking... About things that need to be ordered for the household and things I need to get done .
I am thankful.. For life, for family and friends who I love.
I am wearing... gray cotton pants and a white tee shirt.
I am creating.. this post and the photos I will use or not. I am considering questions for Tuesday 4. which can be a challenge.
I am going... to the drugstore early this morning.

I am going... to the drugstore early this morning.
I am reading...I will be starting The Island by Elin Hidebrand... a second read.
I am hoping... for a nice day all around today.

I am learning... about misconceptions I had about myself.
I am pondering: How badly the Wisteria needs pruning. It's taking over everything.
Around the house... getting things organized as best I can.
One of my favorite things... opening windows on a lovely day to let the outside in a bit.
Buying gifts for the kids... Harry Potter floating candles are on order for both of their rooms.

A few plans for this week: Going to dinner where the Little is working for the summer. The restaurant is on the beach near the family summer house.
I have extremely exciting news about the Little but I will wait on that for a bit.
A peek into my day: Blue skies, smiling at me, nothing but blue skies do I see.

I love the sunshine and it boosts my mood when I wake up to a bright sun! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI do love this day book format, Annie. It's a great way to get to know other bloggers better. Looking forward to hearing the news about the Little. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies. The ziti looks delicious!!
ReplyDeleteYour baked ziti sounds yummy. Enjoy your lunch with the Little, I'll be watching for the exciting news!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky.
ReplyDeleteNow, we know all about you!! And it is all good.
ReplyDeleteI've kept a journal for 54 years now. At 70 years old, I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.
Hi Annie, I don't think I have eaten baked Ziti. Do your grands live with you or nearby? Can you walk to town? How far is the town for you. We drive everywhere over here. If I lived by you, I think I would want to walk and enjoy the views!
ReplyDeletePretty beach
ReplyDeleteIt was a lovely day ! I had lunch and a long chat with a dear family member !
ReplyDeleteBlessings all around !!!
Love the daybook idea. May borrow this concept to do on Thursdays. Beautiful sky and that ziti sure looks tasty!
ReplyDeleteI write in a spiral journal everyday. Today I received a phone call from relatives who check in on me to make sure I am okay. We were on loud speaker. Such fun. It was a bitter sweet call because their son is moving away. Just think of how rewarding it is to have a grown adult taking on a new adventure in a different state. It is a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteI journal my trips.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Skywatch Friday!
