Step Up!

The Famous Anonymous kid and I went to see Step Up Revolution Sunday afternoon and had a very good time.
We enjoy these street dancing movies and love seeing the dancers who are amazingly talented and agile.
It's not a movie for everyone but, if you like dancing of any sort it is fun.
No, its not really for adults with music by Timbaland etc.(clean for the movie or we would not go)  But I never claimed to be one and I love dancing like crazy.
So there you have it. We had a great afternoon.
We had ice cream afterwards which only adds to the goodies of the day.

Last one we saw together was  The Lucky One with Blythe Danner and Zac Ephron.
She picks the best movies!

  2. Hi Annie! Sounds like a fun day! I enjoy the street dancing and it's so great to watch them on So You Think You Can Dance learning all the different genres. Seems like if you have the ability to dance, you can do most dances. Love Adam Shankman- he often guest judges on SYTYCD. He also did Rock of Ages which we really liked. (((Hugz)))

  3. Hi Annie;

    I absolutely love your new header. Is that you sitting on the porch? ;-} Such a talented artist.
    I enjoy street dancing movies. The one I remember and loved was "Tap" with the late Gregory Hines and Sammy Davis Jr. The street dance Hines does to the sounds in the city with other dancers was fantastic. Shame he died so young. I've also enjoyed watching young dancers on the streets in NYC and Boston. I'll have to check out that movie. ;-}

  4. Hi Annie, I enjoy musicals and dancing too. I remember getting to stay up late and watching movies with my mom. I loved watching Rogers and Hammerstein movies. I got to see Phantom of the Opera with my parents in NY. Yes sad about Gregory Hines. My mom liked Black eyed Susan flowers too. I enjoyed your rice recipe too. I cook brown rice in a rice cooker too. Think I will use it tomorrow. I just updated my blog too. Hugs
