The Finished Afghan

completed the afghan for the Famous Anonymous Kid this afternoon while watching the Hallmark channel's The Good Witch and then The Good Witch's Garden, both of which I recommend if you enjoy family movies.  And there are  other movies I hope to see  as this is a  series of movies. It's titled The Good Witch's Gift and The Good Witch's Family.   Catherine Bell stars as Cassandra Nightingale and Chris Potter plays the part of Sheriff Jake Russell. Very romantic movies.

She has a twin sized bed and this will also act as a bedspread, it is very large.    It would also easily cover a double bed. I tested it out on my double bed.

She likes green and hot pink and I think these colors go nicely together.
I tied it up with more ribbon like a package and will  surprise her with it that way.

Now I will start on her baby sister's afghan.  She has selected pink and white for her afghan.  And now that she has moved into a big girl bed, this will be a nice addition.

They said it would be 90° F today but it was no where near that. There was actually a bit of a chill in the breeze and rain is expected tonight.  The barometer is falling and I am keeping an eye out to see if that causes more pain in my lumbar spine etc. I suspect a falling barometer might have a lot to do with how a person feels.

So they are predicting thunderstorms before midnight--the witching hour!-- and that gives me a chance to use my thunderstorm icon. I really enjoy using weather icons.
There is still some yarn left over and I might see what I can turn that into until I am able to get to the store for the little's pale baby pink yarn. Do you have any projects you are doing right now?
I would love to hear about them.

  3. I love the afghan! The colors are just so beautiful together. It's funny you mentioned the Good Witch. I'm a huge fan of all the movies but The Good Witch's Gift is my favorite. I think you're going to like them all! There's even the new one "The Good Witches Charm" that came out last Oct. I hope you're having a great Thursday and are able to enjoy this beautiful spring weather we are having. Hugs

  8. Hi Annie! I will mark May 14th on my calendar so I can think positive thoughts for you for a successful outcome! I like my PT appointments... it's taking the place of my exercise DVD! I, too, like pink and green. Jessica had Laura Ashley wallpaper and crib set when she was a baby... it was green with pink rosebuds. I love the little pink ribbon laced through it. Enjoy the weekend! (((Hugz)))
