Doing Stuff on Sunday

Evening dinner. Chicken thighs with rosemary
and sauce made from handfuls of tiny tomatoes and some minced onion.
I cooked the chicken in a bit of water and the tiniest bit of olive oil. When things were hot, I added fresh Rosemary from my window sill plant and some dried onion. I let it simmer a bit, then added a couple of handfulls of tiny  sweet tomatoes which cooked down. I smashed them with a potato masher to make the sauce. I had it with a baked potato. Simple but I love simple foods.

Working on turning a painting into a header and  a cup of coffee to help

Have to dust the book shelves, straighten the books,
polish the table
in the office.

Un-box and set up the new electric fry pan from Kohl's
on sale

Introducing the fry pan to the crock pot!
I think they like each other.

The kids are in Puerto Rico for a bit where the Famous Anonymous is visiting her best friend who lives there.
What are you up to today?

Annie

  3. Good Morning Annie, I love your new pot you got on sale at Kohl's. I kind of love that store and hate it. I live to close to one. LOL!
I love your topper, it's just beautiful. The chicken looks so delicious too. I Love chicken.
I love all your books and the pretty table and chair, looks like the perfect spot to relax and read. It's a pain cleaning all those shelfs!
Since you asked what we are all doing today, today is my 29th anniversary so I am going to celebrate that with my love.
    Have a Blessed Day! Hugs

  5. Your chicken looks so yummy!! Isn't it amazing how often you need to dust? Seems like I no more get it done and it needs it again.

  7. That chicken looks amazing. I will have to try that sometime. We had chicken last night as well, but I cooked it in the oven on the broiler pan...just legs and thighs that were on sale. I added BBQ sauce toward the end of the cooking, and it was very good. I use my electric skillet quite often...don't know what I'd do without it as it adds like an extra burner to my stove when the others are full! I love your hand painted headers. Such talent!!! Do you ever sell your work? It is so beautiful...you are quite the artist. Dusting? It's a never ending issue here...we live on a dirt road, and not only do we track in a lot of sand, but it somehow just seems to blow through the cracks and turns into dust on everything...and I have a lot of dark wood furniture, so it is a constant battle that I refuse to let control me. I often do my dusting on Sunday morning because we usually have a Home Bible Study here on Sunday mornings, so I have to at least make the living room appropriate...but yesterday we had a day off, and so I didn't dust! It will just have to accumulate another week! Yay! Have a blessed week my friend. It's been delightful visiting with you!

    1. The chicken was just thrown together quickly but I like the taste of the tiny tomatoes stewed like that :).
I have done headers for other bloggers. I have adapted some of the ones I use for their blogs. Thank you for the nice words :)
I have one of those long sheepy wool looking dusters I got at Home Goods cheaply and I just run it over everything in the house whenever I think of it but I try to keep up with it. My main problem here is sand on the floors!
