I had been thinking of doing Friday Foto Friends, but while I have a lot of readers, I don't get enough comments to make it worth my while. Also, many who used to participate in Friday Foto Friends don't visit here, so, I don't think hosting would change that.
But I will continue to post photos I take for
SkyWatch Friday and just general photos at the end of the week.
These photos were taken today, Thursday, in my neighborhood.

"Smell the sea and feel the sky. Let your soul and spirit fly" Van Morrison |
|
"The clouds.. the only birds that never sleep" Victor Hugo |
|
Quiet time.. the lapping of the tiny waves at the shore the only sound. |
|
Evening begins with a riot of color, yet makes no sound.. |

"If you truly love nature, you find beauty everywhere" Vincent Van Gogh |
|
"Nature always wears the colors of the spirit".. Ralph Waldo Emerson |

Sun on the water |

Far across the bay.. I see the edge of the world |
|
Leaning on the fence, I can watch the bay for hours. |
Such wonderful photos Annie. Every single one is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was just me who didn't get return visits from FFF posters...just 2 or 3 of you I could count on reliably but I'm glad I found it as I found you and Pam, Toni and Debbi. Have a wonderful weekend Ann. When I get back to regular blogging I will be back to regular commenting too.
I hope you are feeling well health wise. I remember you had some procedure done some time back but I don't know how you've been feeling now except I seem to recall you weren't feeling so great. I hope that that is just a temporary thing and that you will grow from strength to strength.
:) Glad to have you as a friend
DeleteSuch gorgeous shots.
ReplyDelete:) Thank you
Delete"I got my portable recliner beach chair and I will open it and just lay down and relax while loving all this beauty above me". ~ Quote by Toni (that's me) :) How I wish I could see all these gorgeous photos in person Annie. Thanks to you I get to see them here. Beautiful shots! Have a blessed day my friend.
ReplyDeleteI'll be sitting beside you there.
DeleteBeautiful and imagine, that's in NJ!! Smiles
ReplyDeletehehehe, yes NJ.. not what people think it is.
DeleteAs a child growing up on Eastern Long Island , my only exposure to New Jersey was as a mid-point in the trip to see Pennsylvania grandparents . The experience was not pleasant , as we had to drive past the refineries and one couldn't hold one's breath long enough to get past them and their unique odor to fresh air again !
ReplyDeleteHaving lived in New Jersey for several decades now , those former memories pale to insignificance . This state abounds in beauty ! From the lush forests and farmland to the stellar beaches , it is a treat to every sense !
There are less than lovely places , but they are in the minority . Annie's gorgeous photos reveal the true New Jersey...thank you !!!
Really beautiful neighborhood shots!! You are very fortunate to live where you do. Now I have "Into the Mystic" playing in my brain. Such a great song!!
ReplyDeletehaha.,., yup! That's the song.
DeleteHey, I see some trees this time. can you tell, I like trees? Are you a cat person or a dog person or those gold fish your pets? How did your place survive the recent hail storms? I too liked to stand & lean on the fence, but my view was cattle & fields of corn & soybeans. Any close neighbors? I certainly have more than up in Ne. but it's peaceful in the Ocala national forest where I am now living by myself and my dog. Enjoy yourself, every day we have is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you enjoy the trees. Lots of photos of trees on this blog :). I am a cat, dog, fish, giraffe, you name it person. We survived the storm nicely thank you. I have a lot of close neighbors.
DeleteSuch beautiful photos of the sea, bay, and sky...love those sunsets. It is so very pretty around you, no wonder you love it so much. Hey, I see my friend Leon above. He's a dear fellow, a good man. We are "neighbors" in the forest, but actually live about 20 miles apart. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your great photos.
