.Over & Over Again

While writing this post on Monday, I noticed that the weather for tomorrow promises more rain.
Today, Monday as I write this, started out sunny but gradually is becoming grayer and darker.
Now, I really do like rainy days but since I had spinal surgery, my back does not like rain at all and just gets wicked sore on days when  the barometer falls.  Even the Little, who had a wee bit of surgery on her foot notices a difference. She is 11 so , it seems to have an effect on a lot of people.
Its Toni's Tuesday 4 day tomorrow so here are my answers. I hope you join in and let us know more about you. Toni's logo is the link to her site. Just click it to visit!

~Over & Over Again~

1.   One Movie You'd Watch Over & Over Again?
There are several: You've Got Mail, Moonstruck, Murphy's Romance , A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott, The Bishop's Wife starring Cary Grant and Loretta Young, and, of course, there are many I just cannot think of right now.

2.   One Book You'd Read Over & Over Again?
The list is long and impossible to pick just one. Here is a very partial look:

44 Charles Street by  Danielle Steele, One Fifth Avenue by Candace Bushnell, The Prime of Miss Jean Brody by Muriel Spark
The Prime of Miss Jean Brody is one of the finest writing you will come across. Critics raved about it when it was new.
One Fifth has a twist at the end you might enjoy.
44 Charles St. is  surprising .

3.   One TV Series You'd Watch Over & Over Again?
Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple on British TV. In the main, I listen to old mystery radio programs, however. I really enjoyed watching Spenser for Hire on repeat TV.

4.   One Song You'd Listen To Over & Over Again?
I get too sick of songs to do that so I have to say none of them. Music is fine in small doses but, I hate overkill on it.

See you again tomorrow I hope.

  6. Hi Annie, it was nice to read your answers today and learn more about you. I'm so sorry you and the little suffer during the rain. It's a good thing you don't live where I live as it can sometimes rain a lot given we live in the rain forest area. If you don't mind, I will answer questions here 1) Movies I like to see over and over: Gone With the Wind, It's a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 32nd Street, You've Got Mail, When Harry Met Sally. I'm sure there are more but this list is long enough ;-) 2) I don't usually re-read books but one I would like to read again is "The Shellseekers" by Rosamunde Pilcher. 3) TV series I'd like to watch again and again is Carol Burnett. My, that lady and her guests always made me laugh so much. 4) Like you, overkill on a song makes me annoyed. But I do like the classic greats that I heard every now and then. I mean classical music but also classic rock or popular songs. Two that come to mind are "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You" and "Unchained Melody". I'm a romantic at heart.

Last, but not least, I was over at Pam's blog and I am praying for K. I'll be praying every time I do my prayer and study. Hugs. xx
